We have some pretty GREAT people here at IComm, and every quarter we vote for those individuals that have lived our IComm Values. It's a way for us to recognise our peers that go that extra mile.
Part of our quarterly voting ALSO includes REFLECTION - how are WE living the values too? And this quarter, one of our engineers, Peter Brodersen, really dug deep for himself... He prefaced his vote saying that it wasn't what management was looking for -- but Pete, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but you were wrong, this is EXACTLY the kind of reflection that management was looking for. Honest reflection and time in "the room of mirrors" as Rob likes to say, makes us better people. How do we use our voice and ask for help, and how do we adapt and evolve, and continue to do so, even when we are nearing retirement? Well done Pete, you are a valued member of this team, and your knowledge and experience is #PRICELESS.
Props to ALL of our nominees, and our WINNER, Stephen Norkunas (who hates the accolades, just FYI ~ sorry Stephen!), who won this quarter's award for the 2nd time!
Have a look below at the slideshow presentation we have of the nominees, and the values they were nominated for.
