Inside IComm: Meet Bruna Amore

We have many talented (and very interesting) people working at Icomm. So much so, that we have decided to write a blog series called ‘Inside Icomm: Meet the Team’. In this edition, we introduce the ‘Ministry of Finance’, Bruna Amore.

Who are you, and what do you do at IComm?

I’m Bruna Amore, and I’m the Financial Controller.

How long have you been here now?

22 years!

What was your first job? 

Westpac Bank – Batching Clerk.

If you could switch roles with one other IComm employee for the day, who would it be and why?

One of our engineers. I’d love to learn the skill of implementing a working Communication Solution.

What’s the most unique hobby/skill/talent you have outside of work? 

I love to cook.

Can you give us a rundown of your biggest achievement at IComm? 

I started with 3 staff and still have the same 3 staff helping take the business from $1M turnover to $17M turnover.

What’s your favourite part of working here? 

I know what needs to be done and if I need help its always available, flexible working, and a great bunch of people.

Do you have a ‘can’t live without it’ piece of tech? 

My phone (for Candy Crush !!!)

What’s something we wouldn’t know about you?

I hate losing any family board games / card games!
